We were socked and saddened to learn of the death of our good friend Jessica Beerli in January 2011. In the words of fellow artist Nancy Walters, "Jessica was a SPARKLER."
Her energy, enthusiasm, amazing artistic gifts and off key singing will be ever missed.
We are grateful to the Kaleid Gallery for showcasing the body of work she was completing just before her untimely death, which was the result of asphixiation by a faulty propane heating unit that her landlord had installed in her remote mountain cottage.
Her family intends to find avenues for continuing her legacy of work which focuses on the homeless, disenfranchised and abused. We will keep the world informed of future exhibits of Jessica's work and hope you will join us in future celebrations of her talent and spirit.
